You Never Really Know What Color a Tangerine Might Be At A Depth Of Seven Thousand Stories

about

Food, there was so much of it.
The AI & machines did the regulation, the bulk of the global gardening, which plants needed rotation, which species could be successfully introduced & propagated in other areas, harvesting, shooing away insects & pests with winds and god-knows-what-else, they were smarter than us and we didn't really care. The ones that did tended the community gardens or their own yardens.

People could still hunt, though not many did.
The water was cleaner than it had been in centuries.
The fucking AIR was SO PURE you could literally get high by going to the eighth floor of any building in the city & opening a window.
It was great.
